Government employees have come under recent scrutiny by the incoming American executive administration. In particular, a unit of the federal government is seeking to bring more efficiency to the use of technology among federal employees.
Approach
MetaFacts tapped into its 2024 wave of TUP/Technology User Profile to select 3,422 American employees working full-time or part-time, of whom 176 work in government. These were further divided into those working in federal versus state/local government. MetaFacts profiled the full set of employees by their demographics, usage profile, remote work status, use of social networking, attitudes about AI, key connected devices, and regular activities conducted with their devices.
The TUP data cut features a set of standardized cross-tabulations from TUP/Technology User Profile 2024 in Excel format. It also includes a topline summary.
